Biography: Dr. Farideh Najafi spent middle school and high school at Farzangan Amin Gifted School in Isfahan. In 1381, after being ranked 33rd in the national entrance exam, she began her general medical education at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and then completed it with an honors grade in 1389. Due to her high grade point average, Dr. Najafi immediately started the field of bone and joint surgery at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Tehran in 1389. He completed his specialty with a specialty board certificate and obtained the second rank in the written board in 2013. Dr. Farideh Najafi is the first orthopedic resident in Iran, who has been referred to the thesis of his specialization course by the World Orthopedic Reference Book (Rockwood 2020). For 3 years (1393-1396), Dr. Najafi performed more than a thousand orthopedic surgeries in the underprivileged areas of Khuzestan province, and then since 2016 Dr. Farideh Najafi is the only female orthopedist with a specialized bone and joint surgery board in Isfahan city. Currently, she performs all types of orthopedic surgeries (knee and hip joint replacement, knee and shoulder arthroscopy, sports injuries, fractures) in Asgariyeh and Milad hospitals in Isfahan.
