Weaknesses of the eyes

Weaknesses of the eyes refer to disorders in which a person sees the images and the surrounding environment blurry due to light refraction problems in the eyes. Therefore, the higher the number of light refraction defects, naturally, the greater the amount of eye weakness, and as a result, the person will have a sharper and more blurred vision. Most of the light refraction defects in the eye occur due to disorders of the cornea, and a small percentage may also occur due to disorders of other parts of the eye, such as the lens and retina.

Eye weaknesses (refractive defects) are divided into three categories, which are: myopia, farsightedness and astigmatism. Eye astigmatism is a type of eye weakness that can be alone or accompanied by degrees of nearsightedness and farsightedness. Below I will briefly explain each type of eye weakness. Full and comprehensive explanations about each type of weakness will be given on separate pages. First of all, for a better understanding of the matter, I will give a brief explanation about a healthy eye without any weakness

God Almighty has set the eyes for the purpose of seeing in our face. When there are no defects in our eyes, we will see the surrounding environment and objects clearly. In order to have clear vision, when the light rays of the environment and objects enter our eyes, if the transparent environments of the eye such as the cornea, lens, aqueous humor and vitreous are healthy, the light rays are focused on the retina and meet each other, and this action creates clear vision in our eyes. An eye that is healthy and has clear vision is called a normal eye or emtrope.

When light rays from the environment and objects enter the eye, due to light refraction problems in one of the parts of the eye, which is usually the cornea, instead of being focused on the retina, they are focused in front of the retina and cause blurred vision in the eye. Camera eye. When the light beams entering the eye are refracted less than normal due to the refraction of light in one of the components of the eye, the light rays are virtually focused behind the retina and cause blurring of vision in the eye. Astigmatism eye. When light rays enter the eye, due to the unevenness of the corneal surface, instead of being focused at one point, they are focused at several points on the retina, causing distortion of vision and blurred vision.
