With the advancement of technology and modern techniques, these procedures are done painlessly and easily (like an outpatient procedure). • **chromoendoscopy** Sometimes, to check minor changes such as polyps or precancerous changes in the intestine, the doctor may recommend the chromoendoscopy method. This technique involves spraying a blue liquid during the colonoscopy to make it easier to detect small changes in the lining of the intestine. This method helps to identify early or flat polyps that may need biopsy or removal.
