What is the reason for cesarean surgery?

Sometimes the doctor turns to this surgical method during childbirth and the onset of related problems.

A planned C-section is different....the doctor or midwife has a medical reason for it, but it's not an emergency....two examples are if you've had a C-section before or the shape of the fetus is abnormal in the abdomen....you and your doctor may even decide later that a natural birth is a better choice.

Specialists of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology do not recommend this type of cesarean section.... They say that delivery before 39 weeks is definitely not possible and if you want more children, these choices are not recommended...

Effect of caesarean section on birth

Although these surgeries are generally very safe, they are still major surgeries...the mother's recovery time, both in the hospital and afterward, will be longer than a normal natural birth, and there are risks for both the mother and the baby.

In this type of delivery, the following risks are more likely:

Heavy bleeding
Blood clotting
infection
Damage to other body parts

Some women need a blood transfusion.

Babies born with this surgery are likely to have breathing problems after birth... In this case, they may need to spend some time in the neonatal intensive care unit, usually a few days.

Effects in life

Each caesarean section is more difficult than the previous one.... If you are planning to have another child, and especially if you want a large family, talk to your doctor about how the procedure might affect your plans.

This can complicate future pregnancies....the placenta may not attach properly to the uterus....this means you are more likely to bleed and may need a hysterectomy....the wound may also split the uterus.

Children born with this surgery may be prone to asthma, diabetes, allergies and obesity as adults.

Talk to your doctor or midwife about the reason for this surgery.... If the child's size is the reason, ask about the accuracy of the weight estimate.... If you have something related to your problem in mind, be sure to discuss it with the doctor.
